Filmfestival Festival Dei Popoli

Since its founding in 1959, the Festival dei Popoli in Florence has become one of the most important platforms for creative documentary film. Over approximately ten days in autumn/November, the festival presents international competitions, retrospectives, and thematic series, complemented by discussions, masterclasses, and educational programs. The focus is on films that offer new perspectives on social realities and showcase the diversity of documentary storytelling.
