The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) has been an annual documentary film festival held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, since 1988 and is considered the world's largest documentary film festival. Over ten days, more than 300 international documentaries are screened in numerous competition and special programs, including world and European premieres. In addition to film screenings, the festival also includes discussions, workshops, and industry events that bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, and the public.
