Since its inception in 2010, the Aesthetica Short Film Festival has become a key platform for contemporary short film in the UK. Spanning several days in autumn/November, the festival presents competitions, thematic programs, and specialist sections at various venues in York, complemented by workshops, panels, and networking events. ASFF combines film screenings with professional development and is geared towards audiences, students, and industry professionals alike.
