Wolfgang Kaleck

Wolfgang Kaleck uses legal practice to advance human rights in the face of state and corporate power structures. The German lawyer and human rights activist founded the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights in Berlin in 2007. For many years, he has worked internationally on behalf of people affected by torture, violence, and political persecution.
