Valentina Primavera combines documentary directing with her experience in stage and costume design. The Italian director and set designer studied at the School of Arts in Rome and has lived in Berlin since 2010, completing a master’s degree in stage and costume design at TU Berlin in 2014. She worked as an assistant at the Volksbühne Berlin and other theatres and served as assistant director on Federico Neri’s documentary Antonello Neri In-Provideo in 2013. She made her directing debut with the documentary Una Primavera (2018).
