Sebastian Gerstengarbe’s artistic practice brings together drawing, painting, and writing with curatorial work. Born in Halle (Saale) in 1973, the artist, curator, and lecturer studied painting and graphic art in Halle and Dresden. From 2007 to 2015, he was an artistic associate at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle. He lives and works in Halle, where he develops his own work and curates exhibitions.
