Speaker Matthias Bernhold

Matthias Bernhold brings together acting, music, and composition in a theatre practice spanning spoken drama and radio plays. He graduated from the Zurich Academy of Acting in 1992, followed by engagements at state and municipal theatres in Germany and Switzerland. As an actor, he also appeared in numerous productions of classical and modern operas. Today, Bernhold works primarily as a theatre and radio-play musician and composes, among other things, for children’s and youth theatre.
