Synopsis

The film observes Sven Axel's routines and the landscape surrounding his farm—a place that appears as an untouched idyll to residents and tourists, yet is also used for military exercises by Swedish and international forces. At the fault line of an Ice Age fissure, the filmmaker and the farmer probe the boundary between fact and fiction. Gradually, the agents shaping the landscape come into view, and Sven Axel begins to realise cinematic ideas of his own…
