Stephan Helmut Beier produces films that have gained international recognition and received major awards. Born in Karl-Marx-Stadt in 1983, he earned his diploma from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle. In 2007, he co-founded the ROSENPICTURES film collective with Ray Peter Maletzki; in 2015, it evolved into the production company ROSENPICTURES Filmproduktion GbR. Awards for films he has produced include the Golden Bear at Berlinale Shorts and the Golden Lola.
