Animator Director Writer Mona Keil

Mona Keil creates fascinating and at times unsettling stop-motion worlds filled with handcrafted detail. She directs, animates, and builds puppets and miniature sets, often for dark settings. Her practice experiments with a wide range of materials, and she has particular expertise in silicone and mould making. Her studio is located at the Kontor80 cooperative in eastern Leipzig.
