Jonas Nellissen is a filmmaker and producer who leads and produces projects at Siehste Productions. With a background in event management, he came to filmmaking through a non-traditional route. Siehste Productions has operated since 2017; alongside music videos, where his work began and which remain a passion, his strength lies in documentary storytelling. His first feature documentary, THE WIND IN HER HANDS, was made independently through his own production company. Using intimate, observational and poetic imagery, the film follows windsurfer Elena Sandera as she pursues Olympic qualification and confronts traumatic experiences. It received the “Sport & Society – Roberto Galante Award” at the 2025 Matera Sport Film Festival and won Best Documentary at the 2026 Snowdance Independent Film Festival.

The Wind in her Hands

80 Min., Dokumentarfilm

With no experience, Elena throws herself into Olympic windsurfing and with her comes a past she has suppressed. The immense pressure brings to the surface a trauma of sexual violence. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the ocean, this poetic film explores the fragile line between ambition, self-sabotage, and the moment of losing control.
