Synopsis

Much remains unspoken in Huy's family. Why has there been so little conversation about the ways his parents' migration history has shaped each generation? Why are relations between parents and children so fraught? Is there even a shared story—and where might his own identity be rooted? Huy seeks answers from his grandparents in Vietnam. Filming their daily routines, meals and conversations, he forges a closer bond with them in the hope of finding a way back to his parents as well.
