A cloud of ash settles softly upon the currents of a river. Light enters the heart of a tree through a myriad of tiny holes. Monoculture forests succumb to parasites and become fertile ground for forms of life still to come. A film about earthly and mythological passages through becoming and decay.
A shimmering light, the rustle of the leaves, round spots of light in the shade of a tree. The sun reflects on the water. It is an element and counterpart. Can nature observe itself? A cinematic reflection on the presence and absence of things.
