Beginning with the rumour that Silvio Berlusconi stole a sand dune from Sardinia's southern coast, LA DUNA circles a single question: who owns the land? A collection of strange, fairytale-like, absurd and true stories unfolds around power, property and resistance.
In 2016, Germany recorded more potential tornados than ever before. At the same time, weather tropes flooded screens and feeds: shit storms, data floods, refugee waves. The film reads images as documents, fictions and instruments of control — where fear, manipulation and prediction begin to merge.
